Prompt Tracking

Know what AI says about you, every week

Rankings tell you where a page sits. Prompt tracking tells you whether AI names your brand, what it says, and who it recommends instead.

Quick answer

What is LLM prompt tracking?

LLM prompt tracking means running a fixed set of buyer questions through AI engines on a schedule and recording the answers. It measures how often your brand is mentioned, where it appears in the answer, how it is described, which competitors are named and which sources were cited, so you can see trends over time.

Spot checks give you false comfort

Someone on your team asks ChatGPT about your category, sees your name and relaxes. Ask again from another location or with slightly different wording and you might be gone.

Answers vary by engine, phrasing, location and day. A single screenshot is an anecdote, not data.

Proper tracking runs the same questions many times, across engines, and reports the trend. That is what your board needs to see.

What you get

What's included in Prompt Tracking

01

Prompt set design

We build a tracking set from real buyer questions across awareness, comparison and purchase stages, tagged by topic and market.

02

Multi-engine runs

Each prompt runs on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude, repeated to account for variation.

03

Share-of-voice dashboard

Your mention rate versus up to ten competitors, by engine, topic and country, inside your ZEPREACH client dashboard.

04

Accuracy and sentiment review

We flag answers that describe you wrongly, cite old pricing or carry a negative tone, and trace each back to its source.

05

Cited URL log

Every source cited alongside answers is stored, so you can see which of your pages, and which third-party pages, drive mentions.

06

Analyst commentary

A strategist explains the movement each month in plain language and recommends the next actions. Numbers alone do not decide anything.

FAQ

Prompt Tracking: common questions

Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask us on a call and we will add it.

How many prompts should we track?

Most brands start with 50 to 150 prompts. That is enough to cover core categories, comparisons and use cases without drowning in data. Multi-market brands may need several hundred, because buyers in the UK, Germany and Dubai phrase questions differently.

How do you handle answers changing each time?

We run each prompt several times per cycle and report a mention rate rather than a yes or no. Over weeks that produces a stable trend line. Single runs are too noisy to base decisions on, which is the main mistake we see with in-house spot checks.

Can we track competitors as well?

Yes. Every tracked answer records all brands mentioned, so you see your share of voice against named competitors and spot new ones appearing. This is often where clients find a rival they did not take seriously winning AI recommendations.

Is prompt tracking useful without the other services?

It is useful as a measuring tool, especially for teams doing the work in-house. You get the data and the monthly analysis, and your team handles the fixes. Many clients start with tracking alone and add content or PR once they see the gaps.

Do you track answers in other languages?

Yes. We can run prompts in German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Arabic and other languages, and set locations for every country you sell in. Results are reported per market, because a brand can lead in English answers and be absent in Arabic ones.
